As a kid, I couldn't just sit and enjoy a movie. I was obsessed with reverse engineering everything happening behind the scenes. I wanted to know HOW movies were made, WHY a certain shot made you feel something, and WHAT IN THE WORLD a dolly shot was??
For a long time, I was convinced I’d grow up to make movies, but my creative story had a few plot twists of its own.
After exploring graphic design, multimedia journalism, and video production, I found that what I really loved was understanding the entire creative process: the strategy behind the concept, the logistics behind the production, and the little details that make an idea come to life.
What started with teaching myself cameras, editing software, and lighting setups eventually turned into leading creative projects around the world and shaping stories from the first idea to the final campaign.
Turns out, little Kelly asking “how did they make that?” was onto something after all!
